Tuesday is usually the quietest day on the NFL calendar, and with Week 8 complete, most of the league is still waiting on its first practice report of Week 9. The one place that isn’t true is Baltimore, where the Ravens were already down Lamar Jackson and now have real doubt at backup quarterback, too, two days before they host Jacksonville on Thursday night. Elsewhere, three bigger fantasy names β Matthew Stafford, Kyler Murray and James Cook III β picked up fresh questionable tags as the Week 9 injury cycle opens.

Not sure how much weight a Questionable tag deserves? Here are the actual play rates.
Quarterbacks
π‘ Ankle, “has a chance” Thu. β Joe Fagnano (BAL): Lamar Jackson officially landed on injured reserve this week after thumb surgery that coach Jesse Minter said could “potentially” end his season, which put Fagnano, an undrafted rookie, in line to make his first career start Thursday night at home against Jacksonville β until he turned up with his own ankle injury. Minter told reporters Monday that Fagnano “has a chance” to be ready, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Fantasy Action: Fagnano remains the likely starter if he’s cleared to play, but he’s only relevant in deep superflex and two-quarterback leagues; have undrafted rookie Austin Reed’s name written down in case both Baltimore quarterbacks end up out.
π΄ Toe, likely to miss time β Tyler Huntley (BAL): Huntley hurt his toe filling in for Jackson during Sunday’s 36-10 loss to Buffalo and is considered likely to miss time, which leaves Baltimore’s quarterback room to Fagnano and Reed for Thursday’s short-week game.
Fantasy Action: Not rosterable in any format; move on.
π‘ Thumb, newly added β Matthew Stafford (LAR): Our tracked injury feed added Stafford with a thumb issue Tuesday ahead of the Rams’ Week 9 game. Los Angeles has not posted a practice report yet this week.
Fantasy Action: Treat him as a game-time watch for now; line up a one-week streaming quarterback in single-QB leagues until the Rams’ Wednesday or Thursday practice report lands.
π‘ Newly added β Kyler Murray (MIN): Murray joined our tracked injury feed with a questionable tag Tuesday ahead of Minnesota’s Week 9 game. No practice report has surfaced yet to explain the injury.
Fantasy Action: Keep Murray in lineups for now, but have Carson Wentz β Minnesota’s clear backup β rostered in two-quarterback and superflex formats in case Wednesday’s report says otherwise.
Running Backs
π‘ Feed: questionable β Justice Hill (BAL): Hill carries a questionable tag on our tracked feed into a short week that already has Baltimore’s quarterback room banged up.
Fantasy Action: He’s buried on the Ravens’ depth chart even when healthy; leave him on the bench outside of the deepest leagues.
π‘ Feed: questionable β Bhayshul Tuten (JAX): Tuten carries a questionable tag on our tracked feed ahead of Thursday’s trip to Baltimore. Jacksonville has not released a practice report yet on the short week.
Fantasy Action: Treat him as a game-time call and have Chris Rodriguez Jr. rostered as the direct backup plan.
π‘ Feed: questionable β Chris Rodriguez Jr. (JAX): Rodriguez also carries a questionable tag into the short week, and he’s the back-up listed directly behind Tuten on Jacksonville’s depth chart.
Fantasy Action: Add him now in case Tuten sits Thursday; he’d be the clear early-down option in Baltimore.
π‘ Newly added β James Cook III (BUF): Cook joined our tracked injury feed with a questionable tag Tuesday ahead of Buffalo’s Monday night trip to Minnesota.
Fantasy Action: Keep him as a start for now, and add Ty Johnson β next on Buffalo’s depth chart β as a just-in-case handcuff.
Wide Receivers
π‘ Feed: questionable β Jakobi Meyers (JAX): Meyers is questionable on our tracked feed heading into Thursday’s short week at Baltimore. Jacksonville hasn’t posted a practice report yet.
Fantasy Action: Have a flex replacement on standby in case a short week with little recovery time keeps him limited.
