By Sean Draper · Published November 4, 2026 · 0.5 PPR · Built before the first Week 9 practice reports

The biggest ranking movement of Week 9 is not a riser but a vacancy. Lamar Jackson needs surgery on his right thumb and is on injured reserve, with head coach Jesse Minter saying the injury could “potentially” end his season; Tyler Huntley hurt a toe in the same game, and Baltimore will start undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano against Jacksonville on Thursday night, having signed Kedon Slovis off Green Bay’s practice squad on Tuesday to back him up. The betting market moved the way you would expect: the Jaguars opened as modest favorites in a 49.5-point game and are now favored by 10 in a 40.5-point one. That single change drops Zay Flowers twenty-four spots, pushes Derrick Henry out of the top fifteen, moves Mark Andrews off the usable tier entirely, and puts the Jaguars defense at the top of our board.

The largest rise is Jonah Coleman, eighteen spots to RB17, after RJ Harvey’s knee put him on injured reserve and Coleman took 41 snaps to J.K. Dobbins’s 13. Two more backfields emptied out this week: Arizona lost Jeremiyah Love to a high ankle sprain on Tuesday, leaving Tyler Allgeier the only healthy back from its Week 8 rotation, and New Orleans lost Travis Etienne Jr. to a hamstring. Pittsburgh and Tennessee are on bye, which removes ten ranked players from last week’s board.

Kenneth Walker III climbs to RB2 as a home favorite against the Jets. Jaylen Waddle has cleared and is a start at WR26, Zach Charbonnet enters at RB12 as Seattle’s RB1, and with Fagnano starting, no Baltimore receiver is a WR2 this week, so Rashod Bateman is off this board.

What moved this week

PlayerPosDirectionChangeReason
Jonah ColemanRBUpRB35 → RB17RJ Harvey went on injured reserve with a knee injury, and Coleman out-snapped J.K. Dobbins 41 to 13 in Week 8 with 104 scrimmage yards and the game-winning score. The job is Coleman’s now.
Michael WilsonWRDownWR19 → WR48The biggest fall anywhere on this board. Questionable with fractured ribs as of Sun, Nov 1 and reported to be playing with two of them, as a 10.5-point underdog in a 41.5-point game.
Zay FlowersWRDownWR8 → WR32Lamar Jackson needs thumb surgery and is on injured reserve; Tyler Huntley has a toe injury, and Baltimore will start undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano.
Jordan MasonRBDownRB16 → RB36Aaron Jones Sr. is back atop Minnesota’s depth chart with no designation, which turns Mason into a handcuff again.
Jaylen WaddleWRUpWR46 → WR26He cleared Week 8 active and carries no designation now. With the chest injury behind him, he holds the RWR1 job on Denver’s depth chart.
Derrick HenryRBDownRB6 → RB18An undrafted rookie at quarterback, a 40.5-point total that opened at 49.5, and a 10-point home deficit, with a quarterback room this thin.
Kenneth Walker IIIRBUpRB9 → RB2Favored by 9.5 at home against a Jets front that has conceded on the ground, and consensus has had him RB2 for two weeks.
Cooper KuppWRUpWR39 → WR25Rashid Shaheed is questionable on the knee again, and Seattle is the week’s widest favorite at 10.5.
Mark AndrewsTEDownTE11 → TE20Conditional on the quarterback all season, and the condition has now failed: Baltimore is down to an undrafted rookie.
Travis KelceTEDownTE5 → TE10Rashee Rice returned in Week 8 with seven catches and a touchdown and carries no designation, and a 9.5-point lead cuts into the target floor.
Tyler AllgeierRBUpRB31 → RB24James Conner, Trey Benson and Jeremiyah Love are all on injured reserve, and Zonovan Knight is in the concussion protocol. Allgeier is the only healthy back from Arizona’s Week 8 rotation.
Bucky IrvingRBUpRB12 → RB7About twenty touches a week, and the role has not moved with the script in five games.

Quarterbacks

1Josh AllenBuffalo Bills@ MINMonday night at Minnesota, favored by 3.5 in a 45.5-point game. Consensus QB1, and ours.
2Brock PurdySan Francisco 49ersvs LVUp from off the board on the bye. A 52.5-point game at home as a 10-point favorite — the best environment anywhere on this board.
3Joe BurrowCincinnati Bengals@ ATLThe joint-highest total of the week at 52.5, in Madrid, against a defense that has to travel for it too.

7Matthew StaffordLos Angeles Rams@ WASA 47.5-point game at Washington, favored by 5.5, with everything funnelling to Puka Nacua.
8Trevor LawrenceJacksonville Jaguars@ BALBelow consensus, which has him QB5. The 10-point spread is right; the total fell from 49.5 to 40.5 once Baltimore’s quarterback room emptied, and that is a run script.
9Jayden DanielsWashington Commandersvs LARA 47.5-point game at home as a 5.5-point underdog, and the rushing floor is the floor.
10Patrick MahomesKansas City Chiefsvs NYJFavored by 9.5 at home, and Rashee Rice is back with no designation after a touchdown in Week 8.
11Caleb WilliamsChicago Bearsvs TBSunday night at home, favored by 6 in a 46.5-point game. Above CBS, which sits him this week.

15Sam DarnoldSeattle Seahawksvs ARIFavored by 10.5 at home, the widest spread of the week. FantasyPros names him the top streamer.
16Michael Penix Jr.Atlanta Falconsvs CINUp from QB21. A 52.5-point game in Madrid, with Drake London and Kyle Pitts Sr. both available.
17Tyler ShoughNew Orleans Saintsvs CLEA 42.5-point game at home as a 1.5-point favorite. SI sits him; Yahoo has him QB12.

21Bo NixDenver Broncos@ CARA 43.5-point game at Carolina, favored by 2.5. CBS calls him the consensus top streamer; SI makes him a sit.
22Kirk CousinsLas Vegas Raiders@ SFA 52.5-point total, but a 10-point road underdog. Volume without efficiency.
23Daniel JonesIndianapolis Coltsvs DALA 51.5-point game at home as a 6-point underdog — the environment is the whole case.
24Geno SmithNew York Jets@ KCA 9.5-point road underdog, and the chase script is the only reason he is on this board.

Running backs

3Christian McCaffreySan Francisco 49ersvs LVUp from off the board on the bye. Questionable with the calf as of Tue, Oct 27 but reported as not expected to miss, and a 10-point home favorite in a 52.5-point game.

7Bucky IrvingTampa Bay Buccaneers@ CHIUp from RB12. About twenty touches a week, game-script independent, on Sunday night.
8Kyren WilliamsLos Angeles Rams@ WASFavored by 5.5 in a 47.5-point game — the script a lead back wants.
9Chuba HubbardCarolina Panthersvs DENDown from RB7, and only on matchup: a 43.5-point game at home as a 2.5-point underdog.
10Josh JacobsGreen Bay Packers@ NEA 46.5-point game at New England, and the snap share has climbed back since his return.
11Bhayshul TutenJacksonville Jaguars@ BALQuestionable with the ankle as of Tue, Nov 3. If he plays, a 10-point favorite in a 40.5-point game is the purest run script of the week.
12Zach CharbonnetSeattle Seahawksvs ARIUp from off the board. Seattle’s RB1 on the depth chart after his season debut, and the Seahawks are 10.5-point home favorites.
13Quinshon JudkinsCleveland Browns@ NOThe lead role in a 42.5-point game Cleveland is only a 1.5-point underdog in.
14D’Andre SwiftChicago Bearsvs TBSunday night at home, favored by 6, with Kyle Monangai still out on the thumb.
15Chase BrownCincinnati Bengals@ ATLThe joint-highest total of the week at 52.5, though Samaje Perine keeps a real share of the carries.
16Rhamondre StevensonNew England Patriotsvs GBFavored by 3 at home, and the lead role for as long as TreVeyon Henderson’s illness keeps him out.
17Jonah ColemanDenver Broncos@ CARUp from RB35, the biggest rise anywhere on this board. RJ Harvey is on injured reserve, Coleman took 41 snaps to J.K. Dobbins’s 13 in Week 8, and Denver is favored by 2.5 against a run defense conceding five yards a carry.
18Derrick HenryBaltimore Ravensvs JAXDown from RB6. An undrafted rookie at quarterback and a 40.5-point total as a 10-point home underdog: the box will be full and the game may be gone early.
19Jonathan TaylorIndianapolis Coltsvs DALA 51.5-point game at home. Trade talk has suppressed him at some outlets; SI still has him RB5.
20Ashton JeantyLas Vegas Raiders@ SFA 52.5-point total, but a 10-point road underdog. The role is secure; the script is not.
21Saquon BarkleyPhiladelphia Eaglesvs NYGDown from RB15. A 39.5-point total, the lowest of the week, and Philadelphia is a home underdog. SI, WalterFootball and CBS all fade him.
22Breece HallNew York Jets@ KCQuestionable with the quadriceps as of Tue, Nov 3 and reported as expected back. Braelon Allen keeps a role either way, and a 9.5-point deficit is the cap.
23Omarion HamptonLos Angeles Chargersvs HOUThe carries are there, but 40.5 is the joint-lowest total on the board. A widely named sit.
24Tyler AllgeierArizona Cardinals@ SEAArizona’s only healthy back from the Week 8 rotation, with James Conner, Trey Benson and Jeremiyah Love all on injured reserve. The volume is real; a 10.5-point deficit and the league’s second-stingiest run defense are not.
25Aaron Jones Sr.Minnesota Vikingsvs BUFMonday night at home, and back atop Minnesota’s depth chart.
26Rachaad WhiteWashington Commandersvs LARWashington’s lead back in a 47.5-point game. SI streams him; WalterFootball fades the whole backfield.
27Alvin KamaraNew Orleans Saintsvs CLETravis Etienne Jr. is on injured reserve. Kamara is listed first on the depth chart and takes the goal-line work, in a game New Orleans is favored by 1.5.
28Kendre MillerNew Orleans Saintsvs CLEAbove consensus, and the common error here: Miller has led the Saints in carries over the last four games, even with almost no passing-down work.
29Ollie Gordon IIMiami Dolphinsvs DETA 50.5-point game, but a 7-point home underdog.
30Braelon AllenNew York Jets@ KCThe other half of the Jets backfield whether or not Breece Hall clears.
31David MontgomeryHouston Texans@ LACQuestionable with the groin as of Mon, Nov 2. Houston’s RB1 when available, in the joint-lowest total of the week.
32Woody MarksHouston Texans@ LACAlso questionable, and the back who gains outright if David Montgomery sits.
33TreVeyon HendersonNew England Patriotsvs GBConditional. Our feed still lists him Out with the illness as of Wed, Nov 4; rank him here only if he practices, and Rhamondre Stevenson is the New England back to start if he does not.
34Cam SkatteboNew York Giants@ PHIQuestionable with the hamstring as of Mon, Nov 2, in the lowest-totalled game on the board.
35Blake CorumLos Angeles Rams@ WASThe handcuff in the week’s second-widest spread.
36Jordan MasonMinnesota Vikingsvs BUFDown from RB16. Aaron Jones Sr. is back atop the depth chart, which makes this a handcuff again.
37J.K. DobbinsDenver Broncos@ CARDown from RB30. Thirteen snaps to Jonah Coleman’s 41 in Week 8, and SI and WalterFootball both sit him.
38Austin EkelerWashington Commandersvs LARThe passing-down half of Washington’s backfield in a 47.5-point game.
39Jadarian PriceSeattle Seahawksvs ARIActivated off injured reserve and Seattle’s RB2, behind Zach Charbonnet in the week’s widest spread.
40Mike Washington Jr.Las Vegas Raiders@ SFThe most-recommended waiver add of the week across five outlets, but still the back behind Ashton Jeanty.

Wide receivers

16Rashee RiceKansas City Chiefsvs NYJUp from off the board. Back from the hamstring in Week 8 with seven catches and a touchdown, and no designation this week.
17George PickensDallas Cowboys@ IND88% of snaps in a 51.5-point game.

22Jameson WilliamsDetroit Lions@ MIAThe field-stretcher in a 50.5-point game.
23Jordan AddisonMinnesota Vikingsvs BUFThe unambiguous WR2 opposite Justin Jefferson, on Monday night.

25Cooper KuppSeattle Seahawksvs ARISeattle’s number two by routes, with Rashid Shaheed questionable again.
26Jaylen WaddleDenver Broncos@ CARDenver’s RWR1 on the depth chart, and named an obvious start by WalterFootball and SI.

28Keenan AllenIndianapolis Coltsvs DALA 51.5-point game at home with Alec Pierce on injured reserve. Named a start by SI, NFL.com and Seahawks.com.
29Xavier WorthyKansas City Chiefsvs NYJFavored by 9.5, but Rashee Rice’s return takes the top off this. SI and WalterFootball both sit him.

31Khalil ShakirBuffalo Bills@ MINThe slot on Monday night, with DJ Moore and Joshua Palmer both questionable.
32Zay FlowersBaltimore Ravensvs JAXDown from WR8. Lamar Jackson is on injured reserve and Baltimore starts undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano; SI has moved Flowers out of its top twenty and makes him a sit.
33Courtland SuttonDenver Broncos@ CARDenver’s LWR2 and still our preferred Bronco on target share.

5Isaiah LikelyNew York Giants@ PHIThe Giants’ TE1 with Theo Johnson questionable on the neck, though 39.5 is the lowest total of the week.
6Colston LovelandChicago Bearsvs TBSunday night at home, and the only Chicago tight end of consequence with Cole Kmet on injured reserve.

11Tyler WarrenIndianapolis Coltsvs DALBack from the groin and into the week’s third-highest total, with Alec Pierce on injured reserve.
12Dallas GoedertPhiladelphia Eaglesvs NYGVery little else for Tanner McKee to throw to, but 39.5 is the lowest total of the week and SI makes him a must-sit.
13Mike GesickiCincinnati Bengals@ ATLThe joint-highest total of the week at 52.5, and the most-streamed tight end on this board.
14Kyle Pitts Sr.Atlanta Falconsvs CINAtlanta’s second target behind Drake London, in the same 52.5-point game.

Kickers are ordered on game environment rather than on leg: Eddy Pineiro and Evan McPherson sit in the week’s two joint-highest totals at 52.5. The defenses are our own, and Jacksonville is first for the same reason Baltimore’s skill players have fallen.

Injury flags

These ranks turn on a designation that has not landed. Thursday’s Jacksonville-Baltimore kickoff leaves that game almost no practice runway, so treat Jaguars and Ravens calls as the ones to settle first.

  • Christian McCaffrey (RB3, calf) — reported as not expected to miss. If he sits, Kaelon Black is the only San Francisco back on the depth chart behind him, and Brock Purdy and George Kittle both gain.
  • Bhayshul Tuten (RB11, ankle) — Chris Rodriguez Jr. is also questionable. If both sit, LeQuint Allen Jr. is the Jacksonville back, and he would be a flex rather than a start.
  • James Cook III (RB6) — Buffalo has not split this backfield all season. Ty Johnson is the handcuff and would be a low-end RB3 at best.
  • Breece Hall (RB22, quadriceps) — reported as expected back. Braelon Allen keeps a role either way and moves to RB24 if Hall sits again.
  • TreVeyon Henderson (RB33, illness) — our feed still lists him out as of Wed, Nov 4. Rhamondre Stevenson stays the New England back to start while he is out; if Henderson clears, Stevenson falls to about RB22.
  • A.J. Brown (WR24, ankle) — he missed Week 8. DeMario Douglas moves to about WR30 if Brown sits again, and Hunter Henry’s foot complicates the same passing game.
  • Emeka Egbuka (WR38, foot) — the widest range on this board. He is the whole Tampa Bay target tree when he plays; Chris Godwin Jr. moves to about WR33 and Cade Otton onto the tight-end board if he does not.
  • Kyler Murray (QB14, hamstring) — Carson Wentz is Minnesota’s backup and is not a start in a 45.5-point game.
  • Jake Ferguson (TE18, ankle) — Brevyn Spann-Ford is next, though Luke Schoonmaker is questionable too, which makes Dallas a tight end to avoid rather than to stream.
  • Michael Wilson (WR48, ribs) — reported to be playing with two fractured ribs. He is ranked only because he is expected to suit up; Reggie Virgil is next on Arizona’s chart.

Frequently asked

Who is starting at quarterback for the Ravens in Week 9?

Undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano, who head coach Jesse Minter confirmed on Tuesday, Nov 3. Lamar Jackson is on injured reserve after thumb surgery and Tyler Huntley is dealing with a toe injury; Baltimore signed Kedon Slovis off Green Bay’s practice squad the same day. Fagnano is not a startable fantasy quarterback, and he is the reason every Baltimore pass-catcher falls on this board.

Should I start Derrick Henry in Week 9?

As a flex rather than a set-and-forget RB1. He is RB18 here, down from RB6. A 40.5-point total and a 10-point home deficit are the problem: defenses can play the run honestly against a rookie quarterback, and a game Baltimore trails early is a game Henry gets fewer carries in. If you have a healthy alternative inside our top fifteen, use it.

Who should I pick up with RJ Harvey out?

Jonah Coleman, and he is the most-recommended add of the week across NFL.com, CBS, SI and Seahawks.com. He is Denver’s RB1 on the depth chart and took 41 of the backfield snaps in Week 8 to J.K. Dobbins’s 13. Mike Washington Jr. in Las Vegas and Tyler Allgeier in Arizona are the other two names worth a claim.

Is Zay Flowers worth starting without Lamar Jackson?

Not as a starter in a standard twelve-team league. He is WR32 here, down from WR8, and Sports Illustrated has moved him out of its top twenty and made him an explicit sit. The targets will still come — he is Baltimore’s slot receiver and the clear first read — but an undrafted rookie quarterback in the week’s second-lowest total caps the yardage and the touchdowns. Flex him only if your alternative is outside our top forty.
